Några dagar har nu passerat sedan Oscarsgalan och när hypen efter den fantastiska missen (när vinnaren för Bästa film utropades) nu har lagt sig - vill jag återvända till min favorit.

Emma Stone! Hur fantastisk är inte hon? 

Och här vill jag börja med Klänningen med stort K. Givenchy klänningen som Emma Stone bar och som var en av Riccardo Tisci’s sista skapelser innan han klev ned som creative director för märket. 

Den guldfärgade skapelsen som bäst kan beskrivas som klassisk, elegant och med en tidlös anda. Tre saker jag älskar. Väldigt Audrey Hepburn och sedan läste jag att det faktiskt var andra gången som någon vann en Oscarsstatyett klädd i Givenchy. Hepburn var då den första. Score! 

Jag kan inte minnas något tillfälle då jag inte har gillat något som Stone haft på sig, så man kan utan tvekan säga att jag tycker att hon har extremt bra smak när det kommer till kläder. Eller kanske bör det sägas att hennes stylist Petra Flannery är grym på att hitta plagg som passar skådespelerskan på alla sätt och vis. 

När Emma Stone höll sitt tacktal för priset som Bästa kvinnliga huvudroll talade hon på ett både respektfullt och jordnära sätt som kanske inte alltid är så vanligt hos stora stjärnor. 

Efter galan blev det frågor från journalister och här bjöd hon verkligen på sig själv och istället för att ge tråkiga medietränade svar, svävade hon iväg innan hon slutligen återvände till frågan. Och jag gillar henne ännu mer, om möjligt. 

Nu ser jag verkligen fram emot La la land och att se vad jag tycker om årets nästan-vinnare-av-Bästa film.

A couple of days has passed since the Academy Awards and the hype after the fantastic miss that occurred when the winner of Best movie-award was declared, has settled down. 

And finally I can get to my favorite part of the Awards. Not that there was really anything stopping me before, but you know… It just feel like the time. 

My favorite part was Emma Stone. I mean, how fabulous is she? 

Let’s start with The Dress. Yep, the one with a capital D. The Givenchy dress worn by Emma Stone and the same one that was one of Riccardo Tisci’s final pieces before stepping down as Creative director of the brand. The golden creation that can best be described as classic, elegant and timeless. Three things I always look for and love in fashion. This being said it was of course very Audrey Hepburn. Then I read that this was the second time that anyone had ever won an Oscar dressed in Givenchy - the lovely Hepburn being the first. Score! 

I can’t remember ever not having liked something worn by Stone so it is safe to say that she has a great sense of fashion. Or perhaps the credit should at least partially be given her stylist Petra Flannery who has an eye for finding items that suit the actress in every possible way. 

You can’t talk about Emma Stone without mentioning how incredibly cool she is. Not that I know her or anything. But from every single performance she has ever given. 

When she was giving her acceptance speech for winning the award for Best Actress, she managed to be both respectful and down to earth. Then I saw the interviews after the awards and as she was answering questions from journalists she really went for it. No boring answers carefully orchestrated by a publicist. Instead she pulled of being funny and often got a bit off track before finding her way back to the question. Making me like her even more! 

I can’t wait to watch La la land and decide for myself how I feel about this years Near-Winner of the Best movie award.
