Mondays to love
Loving Mondays has always been a goal of mine. Mostly because it means that you truly love what Mondays mean, and that is to return to work. Yet its quite rare to hear people all fire and flames over the fact that the weekend is over. But perhaps that is just a sign that it’s time to change environment. And not that that is how it is supposed to be. Just a rainy-Monday-thought.
Instead of sitting on buss 40 destination Aldgate at 7.36 sharp, as I did the first two months here, today started later. Sleeping in til 9 and a light pre-work-out-breakfast with Phil Dunphy, before the actual workout. By the way, I am seriously putting Phil on my top-ten-list of Men-I-like. There is just something about him.
This morning routine has resulted in a considerably-less-soar-neck after more than two years. The past couple of years the goal has been to be completely pain-free and maybe, just maybe this is the year. Fingers crossed!
Since it is said that more than 70 percent of getting in shape is about the food you eat, I am trying to eat more vegetables and salad and cut down on the cheese platters for lunch and dinner. With that in mind my shelf in the refrigerator looked a bit sad so my plan was to go for a long walk to the large Sainsbury half an hour away after my morning workout and fill up on supplies. A plan that was promptly put on hold by angry weather gods that have spent the day emptying buckets of water over the City.
If our internet wasn’t out of function due to change of vendor there is a big chance that I would have stayed home in the warmth instead of sticking to plan of getting to a writing session at the National Gallery.
Since it went so well with the dreary weather I decided to dedicate the day to doing some of those unavoidable errands that like filling out government forms, stuff which means that National Gallery and a glass of wine couldn’t have been a better choice.
Just love a taste of fate on Monday’s don’t you?
Håller tummar och tår för att du ska slippa känna mer smärta! ❤️❤️❤️
